If you are visiting Belsay Hall, Castle & Gardens in Northumberland this half term holiday you’ll find a special celebration of the wellington boot going on all week from Monday 26th May to Sunday 1st June 2008. There will be a ‘Welly Fashion Show’, a ‘History of Wellies’ exhibition, a welly design competition for kids, and a fun treasure hunt style ‘Welly Trail’ and Secret Fairy Trail through the gardens.
