The long awaited weekend of Glastonbury 2009 is over.  All that’s left is the mud, and a line-up of welly-wearing celebs of course.  BBC Radio 1 DJ Jo Whiley was spotted in the coveted limited edition Jimmy Choo Hunter wellington - as were Pixie Geldof and Naomi Campbell.

Just as expected, wellies were a must-have after Friday morning’s series of thunder and lightning storms and downpours that turned the festival site into a quagmire.  And the choice of the rich and famous was, as it always is these days, the Hunter boot.  If it wasn’t the much coveted Jimmy Choo then it was the Hunter Original - the de rigeur black was in full force again this year, as photographed in a Posh and Becks style “his and hers” sported by Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts and her boyfriend.  Those watching the proceedings on the BBC yesterday may have also spotted the new metallic gold Hunter boot getting an airing.
