Ode to a Welly
Pam Ayres, celebrity judge in the Welly Week “Ode to a Welly” Poetry Competition, has selected her winning entries which you can now read on the Farmer’s Weekly website.
People all over Britain put pen to paper about the countryside’s most iconic and enduring item of clothing - the humble wellington boot. The poems came flooding in with tales of why you love them, why they’re so practical, even why they are things of great beauty!
