Arxus Primo Canvas Zip

£290.00
Arxus Primo Canvas Zip is a specially designed boot for activities that may require quiet movement in the terrain. The boot shaft is covered with a heavy canvas material that very effectively reduces the sound from fallen branches or other objects that could potentially cause a noise when in contact with the boot.

Lower weight due to the canvas reinforcing fabric and a slightly thinner rubber thickness of 1.8 mm (rather than 2.0 mm which is standard for other Arxus rubber boots).
Direct boot penetration leg injuries can be avoided more efficiently due to the canvas design on the boot shaft.
Riri zip at the back of the boot enables an individual fit around the calf and allows ventilation at any time.
Metal clamping strap lock - helps to hold the boot securely and comfortably in place.
Arxus X-pattern sole constructed of six different technical layers, which create a level of comfort which is second to none, giving a stable grip in all terrain.
Lined with 2 mm black neoprene for added comfort, shock absorption and insulation.
Removable anatomic felt lined EVA-sole increases the isolation against the ground.
Leather-like reinforcement at the heel inside the boot to prevent the lining rubbing away.

Choosing the right size welly without having tried them on can be tricky, so we’ve compiled some information below to help you get it right first time. But if you don’t, just follow our no quibble returns procedure and we will be happy to exchange them for you.

Which foot size?

As a general guideline we normally find that the size you would wear in a normal shoe or boot is usually the correct size in a wellington as well.

Of course this is not always the case and we can’t guarantee that this will be right for everyone – but generally speaking it is a good place to start.

Bear in mind what you are going to be wearing inside your wellies. With most of the brands we sell your normal shoe size will be generous enough to allow for a thick sock, but you should also consider what trousers you are going to be wearing and whether or not you are likely to need extra room around the calf.

How to measure your calf

Wearing what you would normally want to wear inside your wellies (trousers/jeans and thick socks, for example), sit on a chair with your feet flat on the floor. Wrap a tape measure (or piece of string that can be measured afterwards) comfortably tight around the widest part of your calf, inserting either one or two fingers between the tape and your leg.Take a note of this measurement, which will give you the ideal calf size for your wellington boots.
