Fully waterproof to just above the ankle. The neoprene back panel is highly water resistant to provide protection from the elements and while splashing through puddles and shallow water - feedback suggests that for most wearers this provides enough waterproof protection for average use, but please be aware that it is not classed as 100% waterproof like the solid rubber parts. If you plan to spend prolonged periods standing in deep water we recommend selecting a boot with a full rubber upper.
